Arab Islamic Bank was established in Ramallah in 1995. Its activities comply with the Islamic Sharia law, which bans interest-related products and operations. Its main products are based on the agreements of Murabaha and Modaraba, which imply cost-plus sales for consumers and corporations and project finance. In addition, the bank deals in treasury and investment banking. Arab Islamic Bank has a wide network of branches in both Gaza Strip and the West Bank.
