First Bancorp (Puerto Rico)

First Bancorp is a company located in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was founded in 1948 as First Federal Savings and Loans Association, becoming the first savings and loan institution in Puerto Rico. In 1962, it expanded its operations by opening its first branch in Saint Thomas, becoming the first savings and loan institution to operate in the US Virgin Islands. In 2021, the integration of Banco Santander de Puerto Rico into FirstBank was completed. With over 70 years of service, First Bancorp is committed to its customers and Puerto Rico.
