Warmińsko-Mazurski Bank Spółdzielczy, located in Pisz, was established on January 3, 1985, as Bank Spółdzielczy in Rucianem-Nidzie. Over time, it expanded and created a network of three branches in Rucianem-Nidzie, Pisz, and Biała Piska. In 1999, three cooperative banks from Orzysz, Piecek, and Miłki were merged with the bank. In 2000, Bank Spółdzielczy in Wydminy was also merged. On January 1, 2007, the bank changed its name to Warmińsko-Mazurski Bank Spółdzielczy. On September 30, 2016, Warmińsko-Mazurski Bank Spółdzielczy merged with Spółdzielczy Bank Ludowy in Olsztyn. Since October 1, both banks operate under the name Warmińsko-Mazurski Bank Spółdzielczy.
