Genomed S.A. is a company located in Warsaw, Poland. It was incorporated in 2009 as a Non-Public Healthcare Facility (NZOZ) and established a genetic counseling clinic. Currently, Genomed provides DNA analysis and genetic disease diagnostics services using the latest genomic technologies to over 300 scientific centers, biotechnology companies, and medical institutions. It is the only company in the DNA analysis technology industry to have achieved profitability within three years of operation. In December 2010, Genomed transformed from a limited liability company to a joint-stock company. In March 2011, the company conducted a private share offering, raising nearly 3 million PLN. On May 30, 2011, Genomed debuted on the NewConnect market, an alternative trading system. Genomed focuses on developing molecular diagnostics based on DNA sequencing. Their technology allows for the reading and analysis of any gene from a pool of nearly 7,000 genes associated with genetic diseases.
