Bank Spoldzielczy W Wegierskiej Gorce, located in Wegierska Gorka, has a history dating back to 1911 when the Savings and Loan Company in Cięcina was registered. In 1925, the Cooperative Savings and Loan Company changed its status and adopted the name "Kasy Stefczyka - Cooperative with Unlimited Liability". In 1945, the bank resumed its operations under the name "Kasa Spółdzielcza w Cięcinie". In 1969, the Cooperative Bank changed its name to Bank Spółdzielczy w Cięcinie. Due to a territorial division in 1971, the bank changed its name to Bank Spółdzielczy w Węgierskiej Górce with its headquarters in Cięcina. In December 1992, the bank was relocated to a new building in the center of Wegierska Gorka, where it is still located today. Over the years, Bank Spółdzielczy w Wegierskiej Gorce has transformed from a small cooperative with limited activities into a modern, universal bank offering a full range of financial services while maintaining its cooperative tradition and character.
