Doe Run Peru, which owns the La Oroya metallurgical complex in the region of Junin and the Cobriza copper mine. The complex produced 10 metals: Copper, lead, zinc, silver, gold, indium, bismuth, selenium, tellurium and antimony, however, in 2009, paralyzed the complex polymetallic smelter operations in a default in terms of its Adjustment Program for the Environment-PAMA, and financial problems of its parent. However, after three years of paralysis of the metallurgical complex of La Oroya, Doe Run Peru is working to resume operations on May 1st, 2012.
