Goodyear del Peru is a subsidiary of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company of the United States of America. Its main activity is the manufacture, importat and sale in the domestic market and abroad of car and truck tires and other rubber products. The company's sales in the domestic market are made through distributors located throughout the country. Goodyear pioneered the industry Peru tire manufacturing. Opened its plant on July 23rd, 1943, specializes in manufacturing and marketing of tires, tubes, and any other rubber products. 31% of the company's production is exported to Colombia, Ecuador and Chile.
