The company was co-founded in 1997 by Joanne Freeze and Fredy Huanqui, Canadian and Peruvian exploration geologists, with extensive discovery experience. The main activity of Cobriza Metals Peru is related to the exploration and the development of mining projects in Peru and Latin America. It has several deposits of copper, gold and silver metals and properties in Peru and one in Mexico. Cobriza Metals Peru is developing the 7.7 billion pound Cañariaco Norte copper deposit, and it is also exploring the company’s portfolio of copper projects throughout Peru.
