Cemento Andino was incorporated in 1952 under the name of Central Peru SA, in 1956 the company acquired the name of Cement Andino. The company is subisidiaria of Unacem S.A. company wich has 100% of its capital. Cement Andino mainly aims the production and marketing of cement and concrete for different types of buildings. The company's manufacturing plant is located in Tarma, Junin. The company currently exports part of its production mainly to Colombia, Brazil and Germany. Andean Cement was listed in the Lima Stock Exchange in July 2007. In 2012 Cemento Andino S.A. merged with Cementos Lima SAA.
