Banco de Credito del Peru S.A.A., is the oldest commercial bank in Peru, founded as a company on April 3rd, 1889, with the name Banco Italiano, changing its name to Banco de Credito del Peru in 1942. The Bank is the principal subsidiary of Credicorp Ltd, from the creation of this in 1995. Additional to its operations in Peru, the bank has a subsidiary in Bolivia, and two branches in Miami and Panama. The Bank structures its business in four areas: corporate Banking, banking Company, personal banking and other branches. The bank has been listed on the Lima Stock Exchange since 1971.
