Al Anwar Ceramic Tiles Co. (Saog) is a ceramics tile manufacturing company located in Nizwa, Oman. Established in 1998, it is the first ceramics tile manufacturer in the Sultanate of Oman. The company operates under the brand name "Al Shams" and is listed on the Oman stock market. The company's plant in Nizwa is equipped with state-of-the-art machinery and technology from leading Italian companies, including digital printing machines. Over the past 20 years, Al Anwar has expanded from a single production line with a capacity of 6000 SQM per day to five production lines with a total installed capacity of 55,000 SQM per day. Al Anwar has the largest Third Firing unit in the region, producing listellos, decors, skirtings, pencils, and molded borders. The company has consistently been rated as one of the top three ceramics manufacturing companies in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). Al Shams products have a strong presence in all GCC countries and are exported to over 20 countries in the Middle East and Africa.
