Ellah Lakes Plc is a publicly listed agribusiness company on the Nigerian Stock Exchange. Founded in 1980 by the late Senator F. J. Ellah, the company is headquartered in Benin, Edo State, Nigeria. Initially engaged in fish farming, Ellah Lakes produced and marketed freshwater fish until ceasing operations in 2016 due to unrest in the Niger Delta region. In May 2019, Ellah Lakes acquired Telluria Farms, which shifted the company's focus to the production and processing of cassava, maize, soya, and oil palm. With this acquisition, Ellah Lakes now owns a land bank of 2,400 hectares dedicated to oil palm production. The company is currently pursuing rapid growth through the development of Staple Crop Processing Zones (SCPZ) in Nigeria. Since 2020, Ellah Lakes has further expanded by acquiring 5,000 hectares in Ondo State and 5,000 hectares in Enugu for the development of an SCPZ and the production of rice, maize, cassava, and soybean.
