Volcano Berhad (Malaysia)

The Company's principally involved in the manufacturing of parts and components used in the E&E and automotive industries, namely:-
-manufacturing of nameplates and
-manufacturing of plastic injection moulded parts.
The Company was incorporated on 02 February 2018 as a public limited company.
Key achievement and milestones as following:
2003 - VNP received the ISO 9001 ;2000 Quality Systems Certification from BM TRADA Certification Ltd which on 5 May 2015 was subsequently renewed to the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System Certification for the
'Manafacture of Metal and Plastic Name Plates'.
2006 - VNP received the ISO 14001 : 2004 Environmental System Certification Ltd which on 13 November 2015 was subsequently renewed to the ISO 14001:2004 Environmental Management System Certificate
for the 'Manufacture of Metal and Plastic Name Plates'.
2011 - VTT received the ISO 14001:2005 Management System Certificate from Thai International Certified Assesment Co, Ltd for 'Manucture of Nameplates, Embles, Logos Insulators and Overlay by Printing and Stamping
Process and Precision Plastic Molding with Decorative Finishing' on 10 June 2011. This ISO 140001:2015 Management System Certificate expired on 10 June 2020.
2013 - VNP acquired the remaining 15% equity interest in VTT not held by it. Upon completion of the acquisition, VTT became a wholly-owned subsidiary of VNP.
2015 - Awarded the Golden Eagle Award 2015 (Malaysia 100 Excellent Enterprise) and
-VTT received the ISO 90001:2008 Quality Management System Certification from The British Standards Institution on 15 June 2015.
2016 - Awarded the STAR Outstanding Business Awards 2016, Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Award 2016.

2017 - VTT received the ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management System Certification from the British Standards Institution for the 'Manufacturing of precison Plastics Produts' on 21 July 2017.
2018 - The ISO 90001:2008 Quality Management System Certification was renewed to the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification from United Registrar of System.
- The ISO/TS 16949:2009 Quality Management System Certification was renewed to the IATF 16949:2016 Quality Management System Certification from United Registrar of System.
2020 - The ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Certification was renewed to the ISO 14001:2015 Management System Certificate from Thai International Certified Assessment Co. Ltd.
