Cepatwawasan Group Berhad (CGB) is an investment holding company located in Sandakan, Malaysia. The company was incorporated on January 11, 2001, under the Companies Act 1965 and became a public limited company on March 9, 2001. CGB's subsidiaries are primarily involved in oil palm cultivation, milling, quarrying, and sales of oil palm products. CGB owns and operates approximately 10,280 hectares of oil palm plantations in Sabah, East Malaysia. In 2022, the company produced 96,813 metric tons of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and processed 246,484 metric tons of FFB to produce 49,203 metric tons of Crude Palm Oil (CPO) and 11,488 metric tons of palm kernels. The company is committed to sustainable palm oil production and has a strong environmental profile. CGB recycles its production residuals, including solid wastes and Palm Oil Mill Effluent (POME), to generate electricity. One of its subsidiaries operates a biogas power plant that captures methane gas from POME and uses it as fuel to generate electricity. Another subsidiary operates a biomass power plant that generates electricity from the combustion of solid wastes, such as oil palm empty fruit bunches, oil palm shells, mesocarp fibers, and wood waste. CGB was listed on the Second Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad on October 24, 2001, and successfully transferred to the Bursa Main Board on December 11, 2006. In 2008, the company was recognized as one of the top 100 Malaysian small-cap companies by OSK Research Sdn Bhd. As a responsible corporate citizen, CGB is involved in community development initiatives. The company has established an education resource center and student hostels to bring education to rural children in remote areas. Additionally, CGB has built a mosque for the local community.
