Grupo Televisa S.A.B. is a conglomerate of media companies that produce visual, musical, theatrical and internet materials. It operates in five business units: 1) Television broadcasting, with four national channels: "El Canal de las Estrellas", "Canal 5", "Galavisión" y "FOROTv" as well as 258 stations in Mexico; 2) Subscription TV, with SKY (satellite TV) Cablevision (cable television services, telephony and internet access to broadband), and Televisa Networks through which produces 26 paid television channels; 3) "Editorial Televisa" publishes and sells about 156 titles of magazines under 92 brands, mainly in the Latin American market; 4) Televisa Interactive Media, responsible for managing the contents of the conglomerate through internet and mobile devices; and 5) Radio, the result of the merger of "Grupo Radiopolis" and "Televisa Radio", in partnership with "Grupo Prisa" of Spain . The company was established in 1990, however its origins date back to 1930, with the first licenses to operate TV channels in Mexico awarded to companies owned by the Azcarraga and O´Farrill families. Grupo Televisa's has been listed on the Mexican Stock Exchange since 1991.
