ABA Seguros is an insurance company specializing in the area of damage in the fields of maritime, transportation, fire, automobile and professional liability risks. It was founded in 1956 under the name "Insurance Aztlan." In 2002 became part of GMAC Insurance. In late 2006 a U.S. private investment fund called Cerberus Capital Management LP acquired a majority of GMAC, including ABA Seguros. It has 25 offices in 16 states of Mexico.
