Vektra Jakic is Pljevlja-based wood products manufacturer. The company is a legal successor of the wood processing plant Jakic, which was acquired by Vektra in April 2007. The amount of the acquisition was EUR 1.61 million. The sole owner of Vektra Jakic is one of the leading private local businesses, managing tourist objects, construction companies, and air transport companies, as well.
As of the beginning of 2011, the parent company has invested some EUR 80 million in the wood processing plant of Jakic. Additionally, the Holding has signed contract for EUR 15 million with Italy-based construction group of Eventa. The funds are directed to expand production capacities of Vektra Jakic.
