The Company is engaged in the ocean transportation of drybulk cargoes worldwide through the ownership and operation of drybulk carrier vessels. GS T is incorporated under the laws of the Marshall Islands.
The Company is a U.S.-based drybulk shipowner focused on the seaborne transportation of commodities globally.
The Company transport key cargoes such as iron ore, grain, steel products, bauxite, cement, nickel ore among other commodities along worldwide shipping routes, supporting international trade as an essential link to the global economy.
Our wholly owned high quality, modern fleet of dry cargo vessels consists of the larger Capesize (major bulk) and the medium-sized Ultramax and Supramax vessels (minor bulk) enabling us to carry a wide range of cargoes. Genco Shipping Trading Limited's fleet consists of 17 Capesize, 15 Ultramax and 12 Supramax vessels with an aggregate capacity of approximately 4,635,000 deadweight tonnage (dwt) and an average age of 11.4 years, as of August 1, 2023.

2004: The Company is incorporated on September 27, 2004 under the laws of the Marshall Islands.
2005: The Comany was listed in NASDAQ on July 22, 2005.
2007: The Comany transfered uts listing to New York Stock Exchange on April 11, 2007.
2014: On April 21, 2014, the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) announced that the staff of NYSE Regulation, Inc. has determined to commence proceedings to delist the common stock of the company from the NYSE. Trading in the company s common stock will be suspended immediately.
2015: The company is expected to begin trading in the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) under the symbol GNK on July 20, 2015.
