"Rīgas satiksme" is a Riga municipal limited liability company founded on February 20, 2003.
The company provides public transport services in Riga, offers various types of transport for rent, as well as operates Riga municipal parking lots.
In January 2005, following the merger of four Riga municipal companies, "Rīgas satiksme" became one of the largest municipal companies of Riga city. At present it employs around 4500 people.
