Panasian Power Plc generates hydro power. The Company entered into Small Power Purchase Agreement with the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) for the distribution of electrical energy from Rath Ganga Mini-Hydro Production Facilities for a period of 20 years, beginning on the Commercial Operation Date of July 5, 2004. The capacity of power potential is 2000 Kilowatt. As of March 31, 2011, the Company had one subsidiary, Manelwala Hydropower (Pvt) Ltd, which was also involved in the production of hydro power. As of the same date, the ultimate parent of the Company was Power Hub International Sdn.Bhd, incorporated in Malaysia. Panasian Power Plc was incorporated in 2002 and is based in Colombo.
