The primary objective of the fund is to provide long-term capital appreciation by investing in a portfolio of listed shares.
The Fund is a closed-ended unit trust fund started in 1991 and launched its Initial Public Offer (IPO) in early September 2009. On conclusion of the IPO, the fund raised Rs. 537.56 Mn. and commenced investment activities in end-September 2009. Investments were carried out and the fund had invested 92 of the portofolio in listed shares by the end of March 2010.
