The Company was Sri Lanka's first and largest e-commerce enterprise. Its core business is retail e-commerce in Sri Lanka. In addition to e-commerce, Kapruka has ventured into “Last-mile delivery”, “Cross border e-com exports”, “SME marketplace”, “Classifieds”, “Payment Solutions”. Additionally, Kapruka features “Amazon/eBay simulated imports”, “Fresh Fruits/Vegetable/Flower Farming”, “B2B Baking Services” and “Highend Coffee Houses Then convert it s operations into a holding entity going forward.
-2002: The Company was incorporated in Sri Lanka as a Private Limited Company on February 7, 2002 in the name Lanka Dot Info (Pvt) Limited.
-2005: The Company s name was changed from Lanka Dot Info (Pvt) Limited to Kapruka Dot Com (Private) Limited on January 7, 2005.
-2008: The Company was re-registered under the provisions of Companies Act No. 7 of 2007 on July 29, 2008.
-2020: The Company change it s registration number from PV 5789 to PB 00247881.
-2021:
The Company Changed it s activity from providing Electronic Commerce Services in to manages a portfolio of holdings consisting of a range of diverse business operations on October 31, 2021.
The Company s name was converted from Private Limited to a Public Limited Company under provisions of the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007 on November 6, 2021.
The Company s name was changed from Kapruka Dot Com (Private) Limited to Kapruka Holdings Limited on November 20, 2021.

The Company listed on Colombo Stock Exchange on January 7, 2022.
The Company s name was changed from Kapruka Holdings Limited to Kapruka Holdings PLC on April 13, 2022.
