The hydrometeorological service of Kazakhstan was established in January 1922. Today it is a major research and production enterprise of the Ministry of Environmental Protection of Kazakhstan. Republican State Enterprise "Kazgidromet" together with the Services of 189 countries is included in the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) - The United Nations non-governmental organization monitoring and protecting the environment. RSE "Kazhydromet" carries round the clock monitoring, that is, monitors, analyzes, forecasts and alerts about the behavior of nature in different environments, namely air, water, on the ground.
