Namsung Corporation (South Korea)

Namsung Corporation is a company located in Seoul, South Korea. It was founded in 1965 by Men. In 1970, Nasco Co., Ltd. was established. The company started its production and export of black and white TVs in 1973, followed by the production and export of color TVs in 1974, which was the first in Korea. In 1976, Men's Telecom was established. Namsung Corporation has received several awards and commendations, including the Order of the Stone Tower Industry and the Export Day Industrial Packaging Award. The company was listed on the stock exchange in 1989. Namsung Corporation has expanded its presence internationally, with subsidiaries such as Namsung International, Ltd. in Hong Kong and Namsung Electronic, Ltd. in Shenzhen, China. In 1998, the company entered into a joint venture with China Stars and established Hangsheng Digital Technology. Namsung Corporation also established Dreamer Co., Ltd. in 2000 and Dreamer Eye Co., Ltd. in 2004. The company has been involved in various construction projects, including Plaza Camellia Department Store and Crown Plaza in Seoul. Since 2003, Namsung Corporation has been exporting overseas under the brand name 'DUAL.' In 2021, the company relocated its headquarters to Gassan-dong in Seoul.
