Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. also known as KOSEP is engaged in supplying electricity in Gyeongsangnam-do, Incheon, Jeollanam-do, Gangwon-do and Gyeonggi using the company's power generating plants. The company uses Bituminous coal, Anthracite Coal and LNG to generate its electricity supply. In addition, KOSEP is engaged in renewable energy project involving hydropower, wind power, photovoltaic power (solar energy), fuel cell, among others. The company operates five power plants including Bundang Combined Cycle Power Plant, Yeosu Thermal Power Plant, Yeongdong Thermal Power Plant, Yeongheung Thermal Power Plant and Samcheonpo Thermal Power Plant. Korea South-East Power Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 2001 as a spin off from Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO).
