Severelectro OJSC is an electric power company located in the village of Lebedinovka in Kyrgyzstan. It was formed on September 1, 2023, as a result of the reorganization of OJSC "Severelectro". Severelectro OJSC is the leading energy supply organization in the Kyrgyz Republic. The company purchases, transports, distributes, and sells over 40% of the electricity generated in the country for the domestic market. It also provides repair, maintenance, and operational services for distribution electrical networks with voltages ranging from 500-220-110-35-10-6-0.4 kV within the Chui region. As of January 1, 2023, Severelectro OJSC serves 288,894 legal and physical entities. The company operates through 20 structural territorial divisions, which are responsible for the operation of air, cable, high-voltage, and low-voltage networks, as well as the purchase, distribution, and sale of electricity. These divisions also include various service departments such as high-voltage service, cable line repair service, dispatch service, relay protection and automation service, insulation and overvoltage protection service, reliability and safety service, dispatch and technological management service, mechanization and transport service, metrological service, and repair and economic base. Severelectro OJSC is focused on improving energy efficiency by implementing strict monitoring of energy consumption and ensuring accurate and transparent accounting of electricity. The company has replaced meters with more accurate and reliable electric meters with a precision class of 1.0. It is also gradually implementing an automated information measuring system for monitoring and accounting of electricity and an automated production management system in its electrical networks. In line with these projects, Severelectro OJSC has replaced 76 km of capital cable networks with polyethylene-insulated cables and reconstructed 445 km of 0.4 kV networks using self-supporting insulated wires. Additionally, as part of the project to improve the efficiency of electricity distribution networks, the company has replaced and installed 117,485 microprocessor-based intelligent meters with digital interfaces and data transmission modems at customer premises. These meters allow for remote access and disconnection of customers for outstanding debts. As part of an investment project to improve accountability and reliability of power supply in the Chui region, Severelectro OJSC is installing 6,000 smart meters (AIISKUE) for electricity consumers. As of January 1, 2023, Severelectro OJSC serves a total of 288,894 customers, including 269,856 individuals and 14,647 legal entities.
