Air Kyrgyzstan OJSC is an aviation company based in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. It was established in 2001 as a subsidiary of the state enterprise Kyrgyzaltyn. The company provides transportation services for both official government officials and commercial aviation. Air Kyrgyzstan is the largest aviation company in Kyrgyzstan and operates regular and irregular flights within the country and internationally. The company has partnerships with over 20 well-known airlines and various international organizations. Air Kyrgyzstan was the first to introduce electronic ticket sales, electronic settlement, and electronic registration systems at destination airports. The company's fleet of Soviet-made aircraft was replaced with Boeing 737-400 and 737-500 aircraft in 2011 to meet international safety and service standards. Currently, negotiations are underway with suppliers to lease additional Western-made aircraft. Air Kyrgyzstan has been recognized as the Best Air Carrier of the Kyrgyz Republic and has received numerous prestigious awards. The company continues to actively develop in order to maintain its leadership in the aviation market.
