The Jordan Cement Factories P.L.C. is a company located in Amman, Jordan. It was established in 1951 in Fuheis and has a plant and a head office in the city. The company chose Fuheis as its location due to its proximity to water sources and the abundance of geological formations suitable for cement manufacturing. The first cement production line started operating in 1954 with a daily capacity of 200 tonnes of clinker. The Fuheis plant and Rashadiyah plant later merged to form the Jordan Cement Factories Company. As a result, the annual production capacity increased to 4.4 million tonnes.
