Pulse Investments Limited is a company founded in Kingston, Jamaica in January 1980 by Kingsley Cooper and Hilary Phillips. Initially, Pulse focused on promoting and producing international events, featuring acts such as the Commodores, Run DMC, and Chaka Khan. In 1982, the company opened the Pulse Model Agency and started a Personal Development Programme. They also organized the first Reggae Superjam concert, which became highly regarded in the Caribbean. Pulse later founded the Jamaica Fashion Model competition, the first model search in the Caribbean. The company has since diversified its operations, adding media and real estate to its business lines. Pulse produces TV titles that are sold to broadcasters in the Caribbean and international markets. They also control the Pulse Centre on Trafalgar Road, which houses shops, offices, and beauty services outlets. Additionally, Pulse has invested in Pulse Suites at Villa Ronai, Stony Hill, a 75-unit property on 9 acres. The company is listed on the Jamaica Stock Exchange as Pulse Investments Ltd (PULS) and aims to become an international lifestyle and leisure brand.
