Sterling Powergensys Ltd. (SPL) is a company located in Mumbai, India. It was incorporated in 1984 and has a rich heritage in the manufacturing of boilers and thermal power products based on non-renewable energy sources. In 2009, SPL made a distinct shift towards solar renewable energy services and products. SPL operates in three segments, focusing on reducing carbon footprint and promoting a Green India. They offer solar rooftop systems ranging from 250 Watt to 1 MW, as well as utility power plants at the MW scale. They create integrated systems of solar products for the rooftop and agricultural sectors. Additionally, SPL manufactures module mounting structures (MMS) for solar PV plants and carries out engineering procurement and construction (EPC) contracts for solar PV power projects. One of SPL's key achievements is the successful completion of EPC projects for 45 MW of solar PV power plants, including rooftop installations, throughout India in the past five years.
