Bonbonetti Choco Kft. is a Hungarian company, headquartered in the city of Budapest. It has been incorporated in 1993 and since 2002 the owner of Stollwerck Budapest Ltd. has been Raiffeisen CEE Private Equity Fund LP with its headquarters in Vienna. These days it is more than a company, it is a confectionery group, as in 2004 it also acquired the former Bonbonetti Ltd. (Nagykanizsa) to extend its portfolio with wafers. Today the Bonbonetti group consists of three companies: Bonbonetti Choco Ltd. and Choco Bonita Ltd. are manufacturers; Bonbonetti Ltd. is a trade company. The corporation has three big brands, from which Cherry Queen is the market leader among pralines and Bonbonetti’s special caremellized wafers are also unique, premium products on the market. The third important brand is Tibi, which can be found on the chocolate bar market and on the dragee, praline markets as well, however the best-known can be the chocolate tablets. Apart from the domestic market exports are also very important for the Bonbonetti Group. It sells its products developed for the foreign partners’ special needs to different countries. Among the near forty target countries are the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland or Belgium, but the USA and Canada are also important destinations of Christmas candies or Cherry Queen.
