Financiera Solidaria S.A. (FINSOL) is an institution that was established with the purpose of supporting the development of the microenterprise sector in Honduras. It was founded in June 1999 and currently operates with 25 branches located in the country's main cities. FINSOL was the pioneering institution in undergoing a regulatory process and specializes in serving the microenterprise segment. It has achieved significant growth over the years, with a loan portfolio of over Lps 1,277,000 million. FINSOL has provided support to more than 100,000 clients, including women heads of households, by offering financing and training to strengthen their entrepreneurial skills. In addition to credit services, FINSOL has also introduced savings accounts, certificates of deposit, and life insurance products for its clients. The company's goal is to continue supporting Hondurans in improving their quality of life and contributing to the country's development.
