Aluworks Limited (Ghana)

Aluworks Limited is an aluminium continuous casting and cold rolling mill located at the port City of Tema, Ghana. The company was incorporated as a private company limited by shares on the 24th day of February 1978, and granted a certificate to commence business on the 22nd March 1978. The Company provides one of the vital links in the chain towards complete integration of the industry in Ghana. Aluworks, sited in the industrial heartland of Tema, is a modern rolling mill employing the latest technology in the industry. The 30,000 tons capacity plant employs the Hunter continuous strip casting process. The mill obtains its ingots from Valco. Aluworks main products of internationally accepted standards are aluminum coils, flat sheets and circles. These and other products from the mill guarantee the basic inputs for the local fabricating plants to satisfy the need of the building industry, agriculture, the home, road construction and the packaging industry.
