Juhayna was founded in 1983 with a paid-up capital of L.E. 1.296 million Egyptian pounds as a producer and distributor of packaged milk, carton-packaged juice and packaged yogurt products. The company`s activity is divided into four business segments: dairy, which includes UHT milk, cream and cheese; yogurt, includes regular and drinkable yogurts; juice, and concentrates.It markets its products to both consumer and business customers in Egypt and abroad. In addition, the Company manufactures and sells concentrate products to local and export business customers. In 2001, the company increased its paid-up capital from L.E. 40 million to L.E.100 million Egyptian pounds.
