Assa - Automotores de la Sierra S.A. is a company located in Ambato, Ecuador. It was incorporated in June 1960 by Rodrigo Vela Barona and Temístocles Sevilla Sánchez, along with the company Cabeza de Vaca Hnos. Cía. The company was formed with a capital of two hundred thousand sucres (equivalent to around eleven thousand dollars at that time). The company initially established its operations in the commercial premises of Temístocles Sevilla, located on Bolívar and Martínez streets. Shortly after its inauguration, Assa opened a service workshop at the corner of Guayaquil and Sucre streets. In 1967, two significant events took place: the company's social capital was doubled, and a 3,478 m2 plot of land was acquired on Francisco Flor and Miraflores streets. A new service workshop, spare parts room, and administration office were built on this land. In 1982, the construction of the company's building and facilities on Av. Atahualpa was contracted, which currently serves as the headquarters. Assa offers a range of comprehensive benefits, from initial car selection advice to after-sales services and workshops. With over 50 years of experience in the central region of the country, Assa is known as the best advisor to accelerate customers' future. The company provides protection and security to its customers, ensuring a comfortable experience and relying on the expertise of its staff.
