Mitsubishi Electric Automotive Czech S.R.O. (MEAC) is a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (MELCO) based in Himeji, Japan. It was founded in June 2000. The company currently employs around 750 employees. MEAC's main mission is the production and supply of electric rotary and electronic components for the automotive industry in the European market. The company is currently experiencing a period of increased demand for its products and is expanding its customer portfolio. As a result, the number of employees and their qualifications are increasing. MEAC also plans to expand its product range and increase production capacity in the future. On April 1, 2019, MEAC merged with Electric Powersteering Components Europe S.R.O., based in Slany, Czech Republic. This merger significantly strengthened MEAC's position in the European market and within the entire MELCO corporation.
