Energeticky A Prumyslovy Holding A.S. (EPH) is a leading Central European energy group based in Prague. It owns and operates facilities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Germany, Italy, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. EPH is a vertically integrated energy utility that covers the entire value chain, including coal mining, electricity and heat production, and electricity and heat distribution. It also includes platforms for supply and trading on one side and gas infrastructure management on the other. The companies within the EPH group employ over 24,000 people. EPH strives to provide top-notch services in all aspects of its business activities. It is a major electricity producer based in the Czech Republic and the second-largest electricity distributor and supplier in Slovakia. Additionally, it operates the largest transit network in Europe, is a key transporter of natural gas to Europe, and is the largest natural gas distributor in Slovakia. EPH is structured into three pillars: EP Infrastructure, EP Power Europe, and EP Logistics International. EP Infrastructure focuses on energy infrastructure, including natural gas transportation, distribution, and electricity production and storage. Daniel Křetínský holds a majority stake in EPH, while J&T Energy Holding controls a significant portion of the company. The remaining shares are held by the EPH management group.
