The joint-stock company UNIVYC,a.s. dominates settlement of trades in securities on the Czech capital market. In addition to settlement of the Exchange trades and OTC transactions Univyc provides other services and products both for the Exchange members and Univyc's participants and also for other market participants. From January 2006 Univyc is a member of the European Central Securities Depositories Association whose main goal is provision of advice at international level on technical, economic, legal and regulatory matters to reduce risk and settlement arrangements for securities and related payments across Europe for the benefit of market participants.
