AGRO Slatiny a.s. is an agricultural company located in the eastern part of the Czech Republic, specifically in the southern part of the Jičín district and the Smidarska area in the Hradec Králové district. The company's main focus is on traditional plant and animal production. Currently, the company manages 4000 hectares of agricultural land. The land is situated in an area with an elevation ranging from 260 to 300 meters, average annual precipitation of 650 mm, and an average annual temperature of 7.8 °C. In terms of crop production, AGRO Slatiny cultivates cereals and legumes on an area of approximately 2200 hectares, oilseed rape on 400 hectares, and sugar beet on a similar area. The company has built appropriate storage capacities for storing its plant production. In terms of animal production, the company maintains a closed herd of 500 Holstein dairy cows, along with related categories of calves, heifers, and bulls. The main market products are milk and slaughtered animals. AGRO Slatiny also operates a biogas plant with a capacity of 1200 kW. In addition to its agricultural activities, AGRO Slatiny is involved in metal production, specifically manufacturing replaceable spare parts for soil preparation machinery. The company also sells transmission and engine oils, lubricating pastes, antifreeze fluids, and other products from the AGIP-ENI range as part of its representation of the AGIP-ENI company. AGRO Slatiny also operates two vehicle technical inspection stations (STK) for passenger cars in Jičín and Nový Bydžov, as well as a technical inspection station for trucks, tractors, and trailers in Jičín. The STK facility in Jičín includes a car wash center for passenger cars, trucks, buses, and tanks, including interior cleaning.
