Acron, Spol. S R.O. (Czech Republic)

Founded in July 1991, Acron's goal has been to offer quality tourism services, primarily in the areas of currency exchange, accommodation and real estate rental. In the territory of the capital of the Czech Republic, Prague, in addition to a travel agency offering accommodation to foreign tourists, an extensive network of exchange offices was established, at the counters of which the customer could be quickly, reliably and professionally served by trained Acron employees. In order to meet the requirements of domestic customers, Acron was one of the first to abolish currency services. Over time, as demanded by the situation on the tourism market, Acron shifted its focus from the center of the capital to Prague-Ruzyně Airport, where it put into operation, in addition to its existing exchange offices and customs counters, other exchange offices, both at terminal north, as well as at the terminal of the airport Prague - Ruzyně south, and to the coverage of large areas of the airport with easily accessible services then contributed by currency exchange ATMs. In cooperation with Global Refund, Acron, in the transit area of ​​the Prague - Ruzyně Airport complex, created, thanks to the growing demands of foreign passengers, two establishments that specialized in refunding value added tax to individuals when exporting goods purchased in the Czech Republic - Tax Refund. Another component of Acron, spol. s r. o. consists of the lease of its own real estate, such as the Holiday Inn Prague Airport hotel or the Henry hotel, in particular the sister company Acron Czech, s. r. o., which operates business activities in the leased premises. In 2008, the company started operating an industrial laundry near Prague. At present, with a capacity of 1 t / day, it ranks among the smaller but top-notch laundries on the Czech market. In 2012, the company became the owner of the family hotel Aqua Natura in Madeira. Other activities of the company include investments in green energy and sustainable development technologies - solar and wind power plants, micro cogeneration units.
