Family Products S.A. was constituted on December 31, 1958 in the city of Medellin. The main corporate purpose of the parent company includes, among others, the manufacture, purchase, sale, distribution, import and export of pulp, paper, cellulose and similar materials; acquire by concession and exploit forests and plant, cultivate and exploit all kinds of wood or harvest to obtain cellulose. The corporate purpose also includes activities such as the commercialization, within the national territory, of goods produced by third parties and, additionally, the participation as a constituent or acquirer of shares or rights of existing companies engaged in the exploitation, processing and marketing of natural products such as wood, salt, coffee, gold and its derivatives of paper. The income obtained by subordinated companies corresponds mainly to the sale of toilet paper, napkins, sanitary napkins and others for personal hygiene and household cleaning.
