For more than 28 years, the Institute of Medical Diagnostics IDIME S.A. has provided services in clinical laboratory, diagnostic images and external consultation to millions of Colombians throughout the national territory. The institute is present in 23 cities with 18 national headquarters and 35 headquarters with inter-institutional alliances. The organization began activities in the city of Bogota, in the year of 1989, under the name of Escanografia del Sur providing the services of Computerized Axial Tomography and Magnetic Resonance 24 hours a day, inside a clinic in the south of the city. In August 1993, it was decided to change its corporate name to the Institute of Medical Diagnostics, IDIME S.A., name that remains today and begins in that same year to increase its portfolio of medical services.
