Industrias Electromecanicas Magnetron S.A. is a company dedicated to the manufacture of motors, generators and electrical transformers. It was created on September 3, 1971 under the name "Tecnelectro Ltda." operating in the repair of electrical transformers. Since 1978 began manufacturing of single phase and Three phase transformers. in 1988 the company´s name changed to NAVARRO GONZALEZ Y CIA LTDA, and the brand of transformes was called magnetron. In 1992 began exports to Ecuador. In 1997 the name changed again, becoming in INDUSTRIAS ELECTROMECANICAS MAGNETRON SA, retaining the brand MAGNETRON. Currently the company exports a significant portion of its production to more than 9 countries in South America, Central America and the Caribbean.
