Grupo Aviatur S.A.S. (Colombia)

Grupo Aviatur was born with the creation of Aviatur Travel Agency and Tourism, on February 6th, 1957. Twenty years later, in 1977, "Avia Corredores de Seguros" and "Agencia de Viajes y Aduanas Aviatur" (Nowadays, bonded warehouses, belonging to Grupo Logistico Aviacion Carga) started business operations. Since then, have appeared more than 20 subsidiaries in logistics cargo area, hotels and travel agencies and tourism. Also these companies are part of the Grupo Aviatur: Aviatur Campus, rumbo.com and aviatur.com web pages. The brands: Avia Express, Avia Productions and Floravia as well as temporal unions for managing ecotourism services in the following natural parks: Amacayacu, Gorgona, Los Nevados, Tayrona and Sailors homes in the Amazonas and Boyacá.
Currently they are developing projects in the hotel sector as well as passenger transport sector. Grupo Aviatur employs over 3,300 people and has 298 offices in the country. In the same way they have presence in Quito (Ecuador), Caracas (Venezuela), Havana (Cuba), Panama City, Paris and Miami, where Group operates an office of the logistic group Aviatur Carga.
