Cooperativa de Caficultores de Antioquia is a company in the solidary sector, which manages the commercialization of coffee and agricultural inputs in the regions of the East, near Southwest, North and Northeast of Antioquia covering 54 municipalities of the department. It was created on July 31, 2000 with the union of the Fredonia and Oriente Cooperatives. It is a solidarity organization with more than 11,600 associated coffee growers and its main function is to guarantee the commercialization of the grain, transferring the best possible market price to the producers. Cooperativa de Caficultores de Antioquia has 57 Coffee Purchasing Points in 54 municipalities of the Department.
