Confiar Cooperativa Financiera was founded on July 3, 1972, by a group of 33 workers of the Sofasa-Envigado Company, who transformed their savings club or savings fund for Christmas into a small but promising Savings and Credit Cooperative. It is currently one of the six Financial Cooperatives that make up the savings and credit cooperative sector of the country. The main purpose of the cooperative is the provision of financial services for individuals and companies through savings accounts, credit accounts and assistance services.
