Shandong Shengli Co., Ltd. was established in 1994, and then the company has been listed in Shenzhen Stock Exchange since 1996. The nature of the company is A-stock public listed company. Shengli was evaluated as an “AAA Credit Enterprise” by Chinese banking network. It established its bio-tech industry in 1998. In 2002 the first manufacturing base, Shengli Bio-engineering Park was completed in Jinan City. In 2005, the second production base was completed in Jining City. The both biological production bases were built according to the GMP requirements with advanced equipments and have a total fermentation capacity of more than 2900m3. at present, most products have received Chinese veterinary GMP certification. Tiamulin is being done for FDA and COS inspection. The company is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of plastics, chemical pesticides and biological products, as well as the wholesaling of energy products. The company distributes its products in Jinan, Dongying, Qingdao and Jining, Shandong Province, as well as Xi'an, Shaanxi Province and Shenzhen, Guangdong Province. As of December 31, 2009, the company had three wholly owned subsidiaries and four partially owned subsidiaries, primarily involved in the production of bulk drugs, agricultural chemicals, fine chemicals and plastic products, the distribution of polyethylene, gasoline, kerosene and diesel fuel, urban construction, project investment, as well as industrial investment, among others.
