The company is primarily engaged in the development, manufacturing, and sales of new photoelectric materials- also known as high purity metal organic materials (abbreviated as MO source), and it proclaims to be one of the key manufacturers for MO sources worldwide. MO source is one of the key ingredients for producing LED, solar batteries, phase change memory, semiconductor laser, and radio frequency integrated circuit chips. Currently, the company’s self-developed MO source has a stable purity level of 6.5N (99.99995%), which is higher than the international standard of 6N (99.9999%). Some of its products being applied in China’s “Shenzhou” spacecraft, “Dongsi” Satellite, and other related aerospace solar energy products. The company is also one of the key bases for the National 863 Plan, being responsible for some of the projects during the 10th, 11th, and 12th Five-Year Plan. In 2010, trimethylgallium and trymethylindium, two of the company’s core MO products, were named "Jiangsu Core New Products."
