The Company was reorganized as a joint stock limited companyin 1999 , on the basis of Zhenjiang Hengshum Soya Sauce &Vinegar Ltd., which was set up in 1993. With the approval ofChina Securities Regulatory Commission , the Company's Ashares were listed on Shanghai Stock Exchange on Feb.6, 2001. It is the best and largest economic efficiency vinegar and sauce manufacturer in China, national agricultural industrialization leading enterprise. It is the birthplace of Zhenjiang balsamic vinegar. Its predecessor was founded in 1840 during the Qing Dynasty. Its "Hengshun balsamic vinegar brewing skills" has even been included in the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage. The company mainly produces nearly 200 varieties of series spices of balsamic vinegar, soy sauce, pickles and cooking wine. The products are sold throughout the country and 43 countries and regions, used in China Antarctic Great Wall Station and the Beijing Great Hall of the People, was identified as a state banquet dedicated products and the China famous brand.
