This company was incorporated on May 8th, 1997, after the restructuring of the tractors division under Yituo (YTO) Group. In 2007, the company was listed in the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, currently with an outstanding H-share number of 401.99 million in the market. The company primarily focused on the manufacturing and sales of tractors for agricultural sectors, claiming to be one of the biggest tractor manufacturing companies in China (in terms of production scale). The signature brand of the company, “Dongfanghong”, is named “Famous Brand” in China. Recently the company has been focused on the development of the high-power tractors, releasing a 380 horsepower high-power tractor to the public in 2009. The company is also focused on the development of diesel engines, one of the key components for its tractor products. Currently the company’s 55+ horsepower diesel engines (for tractors and self-propelled harvesters) is a market leading product in China.
